Telegraph Park & Hay Lakes Lions Campground
Open May to September, the Telegraph Park & Hay Lakes Lions Campground offers both non-service and service sites for tents and RVs. It's a great spot for fishing with a stocked trout pond on site.
Dr. Middlemass Campground
Located in downtown Wainwright, the 28 site Dr. Middlemass Park Campground features an RV dump station, fire pits, a playground and a picnic area. Open: April 15 - Oct 15, 2007.
Hardisty Battle River Campground
Hardisty visitors looking for basic overnight camping can opt for the Battle River Campground. The campground features six sites with fire rings but no additional amenities or facilities.
Edgerton Sand Castle Campground
The Edgerton Sand Castle Campground has 12 full-service sites with fire pits and picnic tables. Located in a quiet area next to the museum, this convenient campground appeals to children with its unique tiered sand box.
Camrose Regional Exhibition Campground
This campground opened opened in the spring of 2010. It includes 107 fully services RV sites just off Highway 13 East on the exhibition grounds. The Camrose Resort Casino is located adjacent to the campground. Reservations can be made in advance.
Hardisty Lake Park Campground
Operated by the Hardisty Agricultural Society, this campground is located alongside Hardisty Lake in town and features over 40 camping sites for both RVs and tents. Amenities include full hook-ups, free firewood, washroom and shower facilities, a picnic area and playground, and the beach and water slides at the lake itself.

Located 2 km north of Camrose on Hwy 833.
Twenty-nine sites with power and water hook up.
Kinsmen RV Park Forestburg
This RV Park is located on 47 Street, between the hockey arena and Big Knife Villa. It is among trees and offers a shower house, play ground and fire pits as well as fully serviced with 30 amp power.
Shorncliffe Lake Campground
The Shorncliffe Lake Campground is open from May to September and features a boat launch, undesignated tent sites, a baseball diamond, and showering facilities.
Sodbusters RV Park
There are 12 fully serviced sites located 3.3KM East of Hardisty on the Battle River. Up to 50amp service is available. Shower and laundry are on location. There are nature trails for hiking and trail riding.
Arm Lake Recreation Area Wainwright
The Arm Lake Recreation Area is located 16 km (10 mi) east and 12 km (7.5 mi) south of Wainwright, near the community of Edgerton. The camping area offers 75 individual sites and 5 group sites as well as laundry and shower facilities. The recreation area also features an 18-hole golf course, a public beach, picnic areas, playgrounds and hiking trails.
